Jean-Paul Dub invites this time Yayoland (bass) and VJ Pansketel (video) to compose the fifth opus : NEW CUTS. In the continuity of Neway (2012) and Step by Step (2009), the associates continue to confront instruments played “live” to the straight of softwares. If the research is musical, it’s also visual. By setting up several residences the entity directs its work on the video aspect of the show by proposing a multi-screen installation. The universe is sometimes dreamlike or cartoon but always without concession to remain faithful to the first ambition of the project : restore a heavy and dynamic dub with a visual story. In 2013, Yayoland and Jean-Paul dub could indeed wake the schizophrenic who is in you.
